I take up the role of founding Chairman of the Industry and Commerce Association of Ireland (ICAOI) with huge pride and excitement. The ICAOI is well-positioned to provide a cross-cultural framework that will facilitate long-term business relationships and economic expansion for our member companies.

We have brought together a standing committee of individuals, staff and founding member companies which have a wealth of global business experience and a collective intention to build mutual economic prosperity through trusting business relationships. Globalisation is the process of integrating countries in both powerful and challenging ways.

The ICAOI is focused on leveraging our business connections. The goal is to enhance communications and cross-cultural understanding. We have a powerful network of commercial, industrial, political, and educational connections that are aligned to our mission and vision.

Based in Ireland, we are both geographically and culturally positioned as a bridge to China and other countries. We have strong and established links with China having completed several projects over the past few years. The ICAOI has additional alliances with the U.S.A, Poland, Western Europe as well as the Middle East.

As a long-time resident of Ireland, a University lecturer at Technological University Dublin and a native of China, I am inspired and energised by the limitless collaborative possibilities that we have to work together. In this partnership, we not only have the opportunity for mutual business success but also to strengthen our relationships to serve our local and global communities.
